Hi, Welcome to my Blog Page. I should probably say I have never written a blog before, but having being told for a lifetime I talk to much .... think I may be okay! I plan to share hopefully interesting things going on in my work life and general things that occur around my life. Final animation now completed, I know this is a terrible blog, four months between, but hey! I've been busy. It will be interesting to see the fall out from these Baddiel and Skinner pod cast animations now they are all live, so far really good, 100,000 downloads to date, which I think is really good, also three have charted in the i-tunes pod cast video charts, the highest being No. 3, it's dropping slowly now and is at No. 5. Well I never thought I would make any top 5 chart so a total bonus for me. When ever you finish a project you always wonder what next ...... Well for now it's going to be web site tastic - loads to build over the coming weeks and maybe some new book illustrations coming soon too, all very exciting wondering what the future has in store next. |

Completed a test animation today, quite pleased with it, always difficult when you do a test as it will never look as polished as the finished product and really you are trying to get a tone and feel of the final animation, but done now, too late for senders regret, so its all down to client taste and whether I have captured their flavour. A few days off now that I should have had last week to do some of my own work, going to be working on a new kids book I have had an idea for for a while now, a simple little notion, but sometimes they are the best and a bit of gardening as well as the garden looks completely decimated after the hard winter. And then finally later this week a bit of proper work website updates, logo's and leaflets - exciting stuff to finish the week.
